ABOUT US

Smt. Laxmiben L Kakadia B.Ed. College is a self financed institute affiliated to Maharaja Krishnakumar Sinhji Bhavnagar University and managed by Sardar Patel Educational Institute. It was established in June 2004 by recognition and permission of National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and Gujarat Government. The first academic year started from 2004-05 with the intake of 100 students. The college offers one year bachelor degree programme in the faculty of Education.

Objective

To impart Quality Education.
To develop teaching skills and teaching qualities in student teacher.
To empower student teacher with the expertise in the field of teaching for self employment.
To enable student teacher to teach as well as undertake school management.

Eligibility For Admission

The students who have passed graduation in any discipline (Science, Arts, Commerce) from a recognised University, shall be eligible for admission to the programme of B.Ed.

Admission is made on merit on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or the Entrance examination or other selection process as per the policy of the State Government and the University.
